This is a Stoa Modeled Tournament.
StoaUSA rules will be used for events, eligibility, and dress code. 
Stoa events that will be offered will be Team Policy Debate, Lincoln Douglas Debate, and Parliamentary Debate 
and all Stoa-sanctioned speech events

Competitor Information:

PLEASE NOTE: Final speech patterns will be listed after registration closes and will depend on the number of attendees per event. Please check back after registration closes on February 24.

Registration Fees:

Debate events: $40.00 per debater (Team Policy, Lincoln-Douglas, Parliamentary).
Speech events: $30.00 for the first event and $15.00 for each additional event. There is a limit of 7 speech events.
Junior speech events: $8 per event.

Please note:  Full payment is expected by the close of registration on February 24.  If payment has not been received by February 24, a late fee of $25 will be incurred, and you will have until February 25 at noon to pay in full. If no payment is made by February 25 at noon, the student will be dropped from all events with no opportunity to be added back in.

Refund Policy 

All add, drop, and refund requests must be submitted by e-mail to our registrar, JoAnn Pattara at aspirespeechanddebate@gmail.com. 

Script Submission: 
Script Submission will open Saturday, February 14, and close Saturday, March 7. 

Wait List Information:
Events fill up. If this happens, those who have completed registration will be given priority for all available event slots as they open up. 


Junior's Speech Tournament
We will have a Junior's Speech Tournament on Saturday, March 21, in the afternoon, consisting of four speech types: Storytelling, Impromptu, Apologetics, and Interpretation.  See the Tab to the left for additional information.
